He also reveals that the upcoming third test will mark the end of the exam. Meanwhile, Kanne comforts Lawine, who did not make it to the third round, and Denken visits Richter’s shop to offer encouragement, anticipating her growth in the next three years.
Later, Frieren visits Richter’s shop with Fern’s broken cane in search of repairs. Richter initially dismisses it as “garbage,” but upon closer inspection, he realizes how meticulously it was maintained.
Meanwhile, Fern struggles with Frieren’s words, only to discover that her staff is fully recovered when she returns home.
Furthermore, Serie informs Sense about the influx of unworthy candidates dying due to Frieren’s leniency. Concerned for their safety, the Series decides to personally supervise the third stage to ensure proper detection.
During the third stage, Serie rejects numerous candidates, including Frieren, citing her inability to see herself as a first-class mage.
