New Adventures Await

The first season of this anime, often called “Slime Taoshite 300 Nen,” premiered back in April 2021. Now, the second season is set to debut in 2025.

Unfortunately, they haven’t given us an exact release date yet. But don’t worry, the wait will be worth it!

Fresh Faces and Changes

There are some exciting changes behind the scenes. The main cast is coming back, so you’ll still hear your favorite characters.

But there are some new folks in the production team. Kunihisa Sugishima is taking over as director from Nobukage Kimura. Studio Teddy will be animating the new season, replacing Revoroot.

Naohiro Fukushima, who wrote some episode scripts for the first season, is now supervising the scripts.

Hikaru Kodama will be designing the characters, taking over from Keisuke Goto. And Keiji Inai is returning as the composer, so the music will still be fantastic.

What’s the Story?

It is based on a light novel by Kisetsu Morita. It follows a girl who dies from overworking in the real world and gets reincarnated as an immortal witch in a fantasy world.

She spends her time relaxing and occasionally kills slimes to make some money. After 300 years, she realizes she’s become super powerful, reaching level 99 just by killing low-level slimes.

This makes her one of the strongest witches around.

Know The Characters

In the second season, you’ll see many familiar faces.

Aoi Yuki returns as Azusa, Kaede Hondo as Laika, Sayaka Sembongi as Falfa, Minami Tanaka as Shalsha, Manami Numakura as Beelzebub, Azumi Waki as Flatorte, Riho Sugiyama as Rosalie, and Yukari Tamura as Pecora. Plus, we have the new character Sandora, voiced by Yui Ogura.
