Exciting news for fans of Honey Lemon Soda! The upcoming anime, set to premiere in January 2025, has just announced four new cast members, bringing even more life to this beloved story.
First up is Rie Takahashi, who will voice Serina Kanno, Kai’s ex-girlfriend. Next, we have Miyari Nemoto as Ayumi Endo, Uka’s first friend. Shunichi Toki will play Tomoya Takamine, someone who truly understands Kai. Lastly, Taku Yashiro will voice Satoru Seto, Kai’s cheerful and fun-loving friend.
The anime is being directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori, known for his work on A Certain Magical Index. The series composition is handled by Akiko Waba, and the characters are being designed by Aimi Tanaka. To top it all off, Akira Kosemura is composing the music, promising a great soundtrack for the series.
The Honey Lemon Soda manga, written by Mayu Murata, has been a huge success since it first appeared in Shueisha’s Ribon magazine in 2015. With over 13 million copies sold, the story has touched the hearts of many readers. The manga is also available in English, with Yen Press set to release the seventh volume on October 15.
