Chainsaw Man Part 3 is Almost Here, and the Clues Are Too Big to Ignore

It looks like the Chainsaw Man manga isn’t done yet, and fans have good reasons to believe that a Part 3 is coming. Right now, the story is in the middle of what seems to be the climax of Part 2, but there’s still a lot left to explore.

Why Part 3 Makes Sense

If you’ve been keeping up with the Chainsaw Man manga, you’ll notice that Part 2 has almost the same number of chapters as Part 1 did when it reached its peak. That’s a big hint that Part 2 is close to wrapping up. However, there are still many important plot points that haven’t been resolved yet, so it makes sense that there will be a Part 3.

One major storyline that still needs to be told involves the Death Devil. This terrifying figure is set to arrive in July 1999, but in the current chapters, we’re not quite there yet. Even if the manga jumps forward in time, it’s hard to imagine that everything will be wrapped up neatly before the end of Part 2.

More Story to Tell

Besides the Death Devil, there are many other mysteries that need answers. For example, we recently learned that War Devil Yoru is considered the “mother” of both the Gun and Tank Devils. How did this happen? Is it symbolic or literal? Either way, it’s something that readers want to understand.

Then there’s Nayuta, the new Control Devil. There are strange details about her that haven’t been explained, like the missing mole on her face in certain scenes. Could this mean something more? It’s a mystery that might unfold in Part 3.

Loose Ends That Need Tying Up

Other loose ends include the Fire Devil, the reasons behind the Aging Devil’s deal with Public Safety, and much more. These threads make it clear that there’s too much left to wrap up in just the rest of Part 2.

Another reason why a Part 3 makes sense is because of how the story has developed so far. Chainsaw Man is very much a character-driven narrative, and stories like this often work best in trilogies. Denji, the main character, has been on a wild journey, and there’s room for even more development in Part 3.

The Big Build-Up

Lastly, the build-up to the Death Devil’s arrival has been huge. It’s hard to believe that this massive event can be resolved with the limited time that’s left in Part 2. There are many forces getting ready to face the Death Devil, like Public Safety and the Chainsaw Man Church. These forces will likely clash in the future, creating a big story for Part 3.

Final Thoughts

Given everything that’s happening in the Chainsaw Man manga, it seems obvious that Part 3 is on the way. There are too many unanswered questions and unresolved storylines for it to end with Part 2. So, fans can likely expect a third part, which may even conclude the series, but that’s a conversation for another day. For now, it’s safe to say Chainsaw Man isn’t over yet.
