Yandere Dark Elf Anime Drops Theme Songs & Sets April 6 Premiere Date

The upcoming series, Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!, is set to premiere on April 6, 2025. This adaptation of Nakanosora’s manga promises to bring a blend of romance, comedy, and fantasy to our screens.

The official website recently unveiled a captivating key visual featuring the main characters, hinting at the adventures to come. Adding to the anticipation, the theme songs have been announced: the opening theme, “Omoi Ai” (Heavy Love), is performed by Miyabi of the music duo Hatenko Fu-Fu, while the ending theme, “Sunadokei” (Hourglass), is by Kecori.

The series will air on Tokyo MX and BS11 at 25:05 JST (effectively, April 7 at 1:05 a.m.). For those concerned about content, there will be multiple versions available:

  • Broadcast Version: Features visual and audio censoring, available on AnimeFesta and DMM TV.
  • Deregula Version: Offers reduced visual restrictions with audio censoring, also on DMM TV and other streaming services.
  • Complete Deregula Version: Fully uncensored, accessible on AnimeFesta and through home video releases.

In addition to the main series, fans can look forward to a mini-anime spinoff story, set to release starting on April 6 on AnimeFesta and DMM TV.

The talented cast includes Minami Takahashi as Mariabelle, Rie Kawamura as Hinata Sunohara, Kyouka Maruyama as Sakura Mochida, Ayumi Mano as Mei, and Hinako Takahashi as Cecile. With Toshikatsu Tokoro directing at Studio Elias and Yūki Takabayashi handling series composition, the anime boasts a strong production team.

For those unfamiliar with the story, it follows Hinata Sunohara, who, after defeating an evil overlord in another world, returns to his high school life in Japan. However, his life takes a fantastical turn when Mariabelle, a dark elf with a passionate and slightly obsessive love, follows him home, declaring they’re meant to be together forever. This exhilarating rom-com adventure showcases their unique relationship dynamics.
