Actress Alia Bhatt is busy shooting for the last leg of her upcoming romantic-comedy Rocky Aur Rani’s love story in Kashmir. Directed by Karan Johar, it stars Alia opposite Ranveer Singh. When Alia was seen leaving for the final schedule, a video of her from Kashmir surfaced online. In the video, Alia is seen lost during the car ride. Mountains are visible in the background, which seem to be part of the plot of the film. She is wearing a red turtleneck sweater under a matching jacket. She also wore a nose ring with kajal-laced eyes, which seems to be a part of her film character.

Alia is playing the role of a Bengali girl in Rocky and Rani’s love story. It also stars Jaya Bachchan who as per a report will be seen as Ranveer’s grandmother. It also stars veteran actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi as each other’s lovers. The film marks the film’s reunion of Alia and Ranveer after the success of Gully Boy.

Meanwhile, a picture of Alia with a fan from Kashmir has also been shared by a fanclub on the micro-blogging site. She is seen in the same red outfit as seen in the leaked video. She smiled at a fan’s request for a selfie.

The love story of Rocky and Rani marks Karan Johar’s comeback as a director after his 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film’s release was postponed by exactly three months in February. It was scheduled to release on April 28, 2023. However, the cast and crew of the film announced that the new release date of Rocky and Rani’s love story is July 28, 2023.

Sharing his excitement about Rocky and Rani’s love story, Karan wrote on Instagram last month, “They say ‘the fruit of patience is sweet’, so to enhance the mithas (sweetness) of this incredibly special Storyline – We are bringing a lot of love!
