Two Windsor-Essex restaurants have been ranked among the best in Canada for outdoor dining.
OpenTable released its annual list of the 100 most popular outdoor dining restaurants in the country, just in time for the unofficial start of summer.
Ontario dominates the list with 59 establishments, including two in Windsor-Essex.
List Compiled OpenTable’s selection of the most amazing alfresco dining destinations based on over one million diner reviews, the Top 100 list includes restaurants across the county that offer “delicious food, beautiful views, and above all, incredible outdoor dining experiences” Are.
Sandbar Waterfront Grill at the lakeshore and Keg Steakhouse on Riverside Drive downtown Windsor made the list.
“April dining in Canada was up 4 per cent (year-over-year), likely enjoying warmer temperatures and an early start for outdoor dining,” OpenTable country director Matt Davies said in a news release published Thursday. “Find a new favorite spot for patio season by exploring our list of the 100 Most Popular Outdoor Dining Restaurants, or use our outdoor seating filters.”
According to 2022 OpenTable data, when it comes to Canadians’ favorite cuisine, Italian food is number one.
