It’s all done now! Bryce Leatherwood, a candidate on Season 22 of The Voice, was eliminated on Tuesday night (Dec. 13), which marks Stefani’s final appearance on the program. and give Blake Shelton one more triumph to add to his collection. The country singer spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the No Doubt singer, who has mentored intermittently since season seven, saying, “I walked over to Gwen’s chair after the cameras turned off and she’s over there literally sobbing.” She said, “This is going to be the final time that we do this together.”

Shelton continued, “It is strange to think how the show transformed my life, and it will be the last time she and I do this together.” In season seven of the program in 2014, the couple got acquainted. I wasn’t even aware of that because I was so preoccupied with this.

The “Hollaback Girl” singer earlier this month discussed with ET how bittersweet it has been to work with Shelton on season 22 of The Voice, as the upcoming season 23 will be his final as a coach. The 53-year-old cried as she remarked, “It’s just been a really fantastic season, too short,” on December 6 just before the show’s semifinals. It’s Blake and I’s final season. I’m so embarrassed that I can’t even speak because it stinks.

Following the show wrapping on Tuesday night, Stefani took to Twitter to celebrate the end of season 22. “Aaand that’s a wrap!!! forever thankful to @NBCTheVoice, this show has changed my life in more ways than i can count. szn 22 forever !!!! ❤️ gx #TheVoice,” she wrote, later adding “tonight is so bittersweet” in a massage to a fan.
