Episode 3 Recap
In the last episode, Team A faced a tough situation. They were one goal away from losing, and there was tension between teammates Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shido. Rin’s careful and strategic playstyle didn’t mix well with Shido’s wild and aggressive approach. This made it hard for the team to work together.
Even though Yoichi Isagi tried to help the team find balance, he struggled due to Tabito Karasu’s strong defense. Isagi thought Shido might pass the ball back to him for a chance to score, but Shido used his strength to score the goal himself.
Despite not scoring, Yoichi stayed focused and looked for ways to make an impact on the game. Luckily, Nijiro Nanase and Yo Hiori brought some hope with their quick and smart passing, creating chances for Team A.
As the game continued, Team B took control with their well-coordinated attacks. At one point, Tabito ignored Yoichi, which allowed Rin to cover for Team B’s best player. Yoichi took advantage of this moment, surprising Tabito by stealing the ball from his blind spot. With the help of Nijiro and Hiori, Isagi made his way towards Team B’s goal. However, it was Rin who scored for Team A, keeping them in the match.

In a key moment, Yo gave Yoichi important advice—rather than overthinking, he told Isagi to trust his instincts and react to the game as it happens.
Team B pushed hard for another goal, but Shido unexpectedly stepped in as a defender, stopping Hyoma Chigiri’s attack. This turned the game in Team A’s favor. Yo sent a forward lob pass, and while Rin and Shido both tried to score, it was Isagi who surprised everyone by getting past them and scoring the game-winning goal.
This showed how much Yoichi had grown, earning him respect from his teammates.
