When she finally wakes up, Robin attempts to make amends with Charlie after their first run in, but he assures her they are fine and there will be plenty of time to talk afterwards.

During surgery, Sacha struggles to stop the bleeding, leaving the rest of the operating team on the sidelines. For a moment, Robin began to stabilize and it looked as if she might recover, but when she subsequently worsened, Sacha was forced to accept that there was nothing more he could do, and that the table But she died.
Charlie collapses when he sees Robin’s body and breaks down again when he comes across his heartbroken partner Paul and daughter Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Jacob is forced to bear the brunt of Robin’s grieving colleagues, who remind her that she would not have been in the car at the time if it had not been for him.

Robin has been involved in many explosive storylines during her decade in the ED, from the dramatic birth of her daughter Charlotte to the death of her husband Glenn, her surrogacy storyline with Marty and Adi, and most recently, her falling in love . Her childhood friend Paul, with whom she was preparing to move away.

Next week’s episode begins on the day of her funeral, which takes place off-screen, with tensions still running high among the team.
Jacob’s guilt over his behavior on Robin’s last day alive will be a special focus, as he debates whether or not he should go to the ceremony.

Although Jacob initially plans to attend, he has a change of heart when he hears Paige say that Paul does not want him there.
After a heart-to-heart with Ian, Jacob finds a way for Robin to grieve alone before making a life-changing decision about their future.
