And just like that, the Chicago Fire season 11 finale is here!
A lot has happened over the past few episodes, including Sylvie realizing she wants to adopt the baby she found during the rescue in Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 20 and Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 21.
Spoilers tease more complications for Chicago Fire season 11 episode 22 as she pleads with Amber to adopt the baby while Casey returns again; This time, he’s no different.
The last time we saw Sylvie in Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 21, she found Amber’s whereabouts with the intention of asking her for a favor.
While Amber shows absolutely no interest in becoming a mother to the little girl, she is also very skeptical. When Sylvie came to his door, she looked shocked and annoyed at the same time.
Seeing Sylvie again could mean that something has happened to the baby, or that they are trying to get her to take the baby back.
And even if Amber decides to give Sylvie her parental rights, the adoption process can be long and exhausting.
In the midst of trying to win the heart of an erratic teenager and hoping that he’ll be kind enough to take care of Sylvie and give her what she wants, another problem appears out of nowhere.
Casey made a surprise appearance on Chicago Fire Season 11 Episode 18, which rocked Sylvie’s world.
He found out that Sylvie was dating someone and lied to make it appear that he had broken up with her as well.
While Sylvie didn’t lie when she said she was dating someone, she absolutely wasn’t.
This latest comeback will be emotional, as all emotions and thoughts have been put on hold.
Everyone we meet has learned better than to hide his feelings. He revisits the past, the first time he and Sylvie shared their first kiss.
He also doesn’t seem to be in a rush to run away as he is aware of Sylvie’s latest life development and offers his help and support when needed.
When Gabi wanted to adopt Louie, Casey went through adoption hell herself, so she understands the stress and anxiety that comes with it.
While he was gone, he was to look after the Durden boys as they needed it. He became like a father to them.
Between Louie and the boys, he may have developed strong paternal instincts and inclinations.
Will his love for Sylvie and the fact that she is going to be a mother draw them together?
Even though she loves him, Sylvie will have a myriad of feelings because she is juggling so much.
From the stress of the job to the anxiety arising from waiting for news of the adoption, to Dylan – who has now become a burden – she will be in a difficult position emotionally.
And then, when Storm Casey is considered, it gets muddled.
When Casey returned, he was on assignment for the Department of Homeland Security regarding a possible terrorist threat in Chicago.
He let a few lieutenants go and told them to be on the lookout for anything strange during the call.
A new development brings him back to town when Stella discovers a new lead in the case.
The episode teases a major emergency.
An accident occurs in the middle of town when a boat and a car on a trailer collide and the boat crushes the car.
The entire house reacts to the rescue, and during the rescue, Herrmann hears something that surprises him.
There is no clear verdict about tantriks and whether what they advertise has any basis in reality or is it supernatural.
Psychics have been accused of being quacks who use a combination of shadowy techniques to give “readings” and hopefully instill some fear in the person doing the reading.
During the rescue, Herrmann encounters a psychic who gives a dire warning.
It’s unclear what the warning is about, but knowing Herrmann, whatever it is, he takes it seriously.
Whether this warning is serious or a joke, this episode will reveal.
Being a season finale, there will be a cliffhanger or multiple leads.
The first is clearly the terrorist threat.
The second is Sylvie and Casey’s future and will Casey return now that the Darden boys no longer need him as much.
A bomb was dropped regarding Severide’s whereabouts, which no one knew about. The news shocks the last person she should have come to, and Stella will not rest until she knows what is happening to her.
Will this distract her enough to miss the million clues about Carver and her feelings for him?
With Taylor Kinney not set to return in the near future, is the show planning to develop a Carver-Stella-Violet love triangle?
The season finale will have many questions to answer while setting up the story of Chicago Fire season 12.
