Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon Drops Major Casting News: Shogo Sakata in the Spotlight!

The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon has just dropped some exciting news. Fans now have their first look at the anime’s key visual. This new visual gives a glimpse into the vibrant world of this romantic comedy series.

The anime will be directed by Hiroyuki Oshima. You might know him from his work on Black Butler: Public School Arc Episode 2 and Stardust Telepath Episode 10. The animation is a joint effort between Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. Tatsuya Takahashi will handle the series composition. He is known for his work on The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of the Rust Mountains.

Nanako Tatsu, who worked as an assistant character designer on Date A Live V, will be designing the characters for this anime. The music will be composed by Arisa Okehazama, who also worked on The Apothecary Diaries.

The new voice cast reveal includes Shogo Sakata, who will voice the main male character, Saito Hojo. This addition is sure to excite fans of the series.

Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon is based on the romantic comedy light novels by Seiju Amano, with illustrations by Nanami Narumi. The story centers on Saito, who ends up married to his classmate and nemesis, Akane Sakuramori, voiced by Hinaki Yano. The light novel series began in December 2020 and has released eight volumes as of November 2023.

Additionally, there is a manga adaptation by Mosukonbu and an online voiced manga available on YouTube. Both Narumi and Mosukonbu are credited as original character designers for the anime.
