Fire Force’s Final Chapter Arrives April 4: Watch the Explosive New Trailer!

The much-anticipated third and final season of the anime is set to premiere on April 4, 2025. This announcement was made during the IGN Fan Fest 2025, where a new trailer was unveiled, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

Adding to the excitement, the trailer features the new opening theme song, “High Flame,” performed by the renowned band Queen Bee. Their energetic sound promises to set the tone for the upcoming episodes.

The final season will be split into two parts. The first part kicks off in April 2025, while the second part is scheduled for release in January 2026. Viewers can catch the episodes on MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS.

For international fans, Crunchyroll will stream the anime across various regions, including North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

There are some changes behind the scenes as well. Sei Tsuguta, known for works like “Undead Unluck” and “Sk8 the Infinity,” is now overseeing and writing the scripts.

Mika Yamamoto has joined as the sub-character designer, bringing fresh artistic perspectives to the series.

“Fire Force,” created by Atsushi Ohkubo, first captivated audiences with its manga debut in 2015. The story is set in a world where spontaneous human combustion turns people into destructive beings known as Infernals.

To combat this phenomenon, a special firefighting team, the Fire Force, was established. The protagonist, Shinra, possesses the unique ability to ignite his feet, earning him the nickname “Devil’s Footprints.”

Together with his team, they strive to uncover the truth behind these mysterious events and save their city from destruction.
