On January 21, 2025, the official website and social media accounts of the anime dropped a brand-new teaser promotional video.
Along with it came a stunning key visual featuring the show’s main character, Rudo Surebrec.
While fans were hoping for more details, the teaser and visual have already set the stage for what’s to come in 2025.
A Glimpse of Rudo
In the newly released visual, Rudo stands with a determined look, tightening his gloves as if preparing for an intense battle. The image carries a powerful tagline in Japanese, which translates to “I’m doing this for real” in English. This one line alone gives a strong hint about the anime’s theme—perseverance and grit.
Satoshi Ishino, known for his work on Date A Live, designed the character visual. He’s also the chief animation director for the series. Meanwhile, the teaser video brings moments straight from Kei Urana’s manga, showcasing some of its most memorable lines.
What We Know About Gachiakuta
The Gachiakuta anime is an adaptation of Kei Urana’s dark fantasy manga, which first appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022. With 13 volumes already out, the series has gained a solid fanbase.

The Story of Gachiakuta
