Jenna Ushkowitz has revealed the name of her baby girl, and it’s perfect.
Out of respect for her daughter’s privacy, the Glee alum originally withheld her daughter’s identity before elegantly breaking the news.
The actress’ gold bubble-letter necklace reads “Emma,” as shown in her Instagram image on November 3; the photo also features her infant’s hand curled around her finger. In a different image, Jenna beams as she wears the necklace around her neck and declares, “I’m never taking it off,” in the caption.
The Broadway actress, who has a 5-month-old baby named Emma with her husband David Stanley, opened up about how long she thought about posting her daughter’s name online in her caption.
“I wanted to thank you all for respecting our choice to keep Emma and her name off social media until now,” Jenna, who gave birth in June, wrote. “I have grappled with this choice since the day she arrived.”
The 36-year-old said she chose to keep it hidden in order to protect her family.
“I love sharing this part of my life with you but i’m sure you can understand that my momma bear instinct kicked in,” Jenna continued, “and keeping her to ourselves has felt like the right thing for me and my family.”

She added, “I do want to share her name with you, though. I want to continue sharing my journey as a mother on here and your kindness and incredible support thus far has meant the world… so please meet our little girl, Emma.”
The most recent piece of jewelry to be added to Jenna’s collection is the “Emma” necklace. The podcast presenter wore a “mother” necklace with her hospital gown when she announced the birth of her first child, and her daughter can be seen poking out from under a blanket.
“Our hearts have burst wide open,” the actress said as the caption for the adorable scene.
