Hey, anime fans, guess what? Crunchyroll just dropped some awesome news! They’re streaming a brand new anime called Good Bye, Dragon Life. It’s based on these cool novels by Hiroaki Nagashima and brought to life with illustrations by Kisuke Ichimaru. You can start watching it in October, just in time for the fall anime season.
And get this, you can watch it almost everywhere! Crunchyroll is streaming it in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and the Indian subcontinent. Talk about global!
But there’s even more exciting stuff! If you’re heading to Anime NYC on August 23, you’re in for a treat. Crunchyroll is hosting a special event where you can catch the first episode of Good Bye, Dragon Life early. It’s like having a VIP pass to see it before anyone else!
So, what’s the story about? It follows Dolan, who used to be the mightiest dragon around until humans took him down. But no worries, Dolan gets a second shot at life as a human. Now he’s into farming and hunting, enjoying the simple things.

Along the way, Dolan meets Celina, a lamia (which is a type of monster). Celina’s on the lookout for a mate but finds it hard to connect with humans. Despite their differences, Dolan and Celina start getting along, but life throws plenty of challenges their way.
The voice cast is top-notch, too. Shunsuke Takeuchi voices Dolan, and Hitomi Sekine brings Celina to life. There’s a whole bunch of other talented voice actors in the mix, too.

If you’re hitting up Anime NYC, there’s more anime goodness. Crunchyroll has a panel for another show, Shangri-La Frontier, on August 23. Plus, they’re screening the second season of MF Ghost on August 24.
