Grand Blue Season 2 Finally Confirmed: New Visual Will Blow You Away

After six long years, Grand Blue season 2 has been officially confirmed. The announcement came on Sunday, September 29, 2024, through the anime’s official website and social media platforms. Fans were treated to a brand-new teaser visual that has everyone buzzing with excitement.

For those unfamiliar, the anime is based on the manga series by Kenji Inoue (writer) and Kimitake Yoshioka (illustrator). The manga has been serialized in Good! Afternoon Magazine since April 2014, and it’s known for its unique mix of hilarious comedy and diving adventures.

The image features some familiar faces: Iori Kitahara, Kohei Imamura, Chisa Kotegawa, and Shinji Tokita, all toasting together under the hot summer sun. The Cast and Crew are Back!

Fans will be happy to know that the original cast and crew from season 1 are returning for season 2. This means we’ll get to hear Yuma Uchida as Iori, Ryohei Kimura as Kohei, Chika Anzai as Chisa, and Hiroki Yasumoto as Shinji, among others. The voices that brought these hilarious characters to life are coming back, which adds to the excitement.

On the production side, Shinji Takamatsu will return as the director, sound director, and scriptwriter. Hideoki Kusama will once again take on the role of chief animation director and character designer, ensuring that season 2 maintains the same look and feel as the first season. Zero-G Studios will be working alongside Liber to handle the animation production.
