British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak today announced a controversial new plan to stem the rise of illegal immigrants coming into the country. Sunak issued a warning saying those who entered the UK illegally would not be allowed to claim asylum.
Rishi Sunak said in a tweet, “If you come here illegally, you cannot claim asylum. You cannot benefit from our modern slavery protections. You cannot make false claims of human rights and you cannot Can stay.”
“We will detain people who come here illegally and then remove them within weeks, either in their own country if it is safe to do so. Or in a safe third country like Rwanda. And once you are removed , then you will be banned.” from re-entering our country in the US and Australia,” he said.

Dubbed the ‘Illegal Migration Bill’, the draft law would crack down on those crossing the English Channel in small boats.
More than 45,000 migrants reached the coast of southeast England on small boats last year – a 60 per cent annual increase on a dangerous route that has grown in popularity every year since 2018.
Rights groups and opposition parties have criticized the new law, saying the plan is unworkable and unfairly scapegoats vulnerable refugees.
