last we heard Jeremy Renner, he was bravely helping a stranded motorist when he was crushed to death by his own snowplow and seriously injured. He was in critical, but stable condition, which made his selflessness all the more tragic. Luckily for us, he’s back in a big way with a new disney plus Show.

Renner announced a new original series titled TODAY redistribution, “an original four-part series that embraces Jeremy Renner’s lifelong passion for giving back to communities around the world by re-imagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs,” per YouTube . The show’s tagline is “Every Build Has a Purpose.”

Reiner said he’s “been on this journey for many years,” and his philanthropic streak began with building vehicles for those who needed them, according to a statement shared by Diversity,

“But a few years ago, I thought, ‘How can I scale this up and make a bigger impact on the whole community?’ And that’s what this show does. The accident was bad — Reiner broke 30 bones, but he called the show “the driving force in my recovery.”

The show centers around Reiner and his best friend Rory Millikin traveling the world, along with a build crew. They seek out old vehicles and refurbish them for new uses. In one episode, they take a delivery truck and a tour bus and turn them into a music studio. In another, they convert a city bus into a rotating dance studio.

The show will also feature celebrities like The Falcon of the MCU – Anthony Mackie, Vanessa Hudgens, singer Sebastian Yatra and actor Anil Kapoor. Renner and crew travel through four locations: his hometown of Reno, India, Mexico, and Chicago. They find out what a community needs and then use that knowledge to “build something incredible”.
