Jon Bernthal returns as the Punisher Daredevil: Born Again Bitter sweet with the news that actors Deborah Ann Woll and Alden Henson will not be returning. Woll played Karen Page and Henson played Foggy in the Netflix series, but they will not be returning for the Disney Plus series.
The Hollywood Reporter confirms neither star is on the roll call Daredevil: Born Again, and it will be a tough pill to swallow for many fans. When Daring First premiered on Netflix, it started with all three of them. Foggy was a childhood friend of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), and Karen joins his low-level law firm and becomes the office manager after he is falsely accused of murder. She works with him on cases to help the people of Hell’s Kitchen.
Although Cox said it’s the same Daredevil from the Netflix series, it’s hard to imagine the series having the same vibe without his two supporting characters. Both Woll and Henson Daring And added a lot to the story.
Daredevil: Born Again is set to begin filming in New York in late March, and is expected to release in late 2024 echo premiere. Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays the Kingpin, will both be in the series before continuing their storylines in the new Daring, Rebirth, Which will see Matt Murdock in Search of Jessica Jones – played by Krysten Ritter.
Keeping him out of the new series entirely is a polarizing choice, but hopefully it’s not too late to incorporate him into the story.
