Mix: Meisei Story Anime’s 2nd Season Reveals Teaser Visual, Title

On Monday, the January 2023 issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine unveiled further information about the Mix: Meisei Story anime’s second season. The magazine unveiled the anime’s second season title, Mix: Meisei Story nidome no Natsu, Sora no Mukou e (Mix: Meisei Story nidome no Natsu, Beyond the Sky), as well as a teaser visual:

The animation will also be accompanied by a television cooperation titled “Ch Pro Yaky ULTRA” (Super Pro Baseball ULTRA), which will include 12 of Japan’s professional baseball teams. The program will run on YTV and NTV in Japan on January 8 at 13:00 JST.

The second season will premiere in the spring of 2023. The story will take place following the first summer of high school.

The first season of the anime premiered in Japan in 2019 and lasted 24 episodes. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles as it aired. Funimation also aired an English dub of the series.
