Season 2 of the live-action adventure on Netflix is getting closer, and the crew is growing! We just learned who will be playing some important characters you’ll see in the upcoming episodes.
Remember Crocus, the cool doctor who took care of Luffy on Reverse Mountain? Netflix has cast Clive Russell to bring him to life. Russell is a super-talented actor who’s been in tons of movies and shows, so we can expect a fantastic performance!
But that’s not all! Two other characters are joining the fun. Dorry and Brogy are those legendary giants who have been having a giant-sized fight for a hundred years over a little misunderstanding. Netflix has chosen Werner Coetser and Brendan Murray to play these giants. It’ll be interesting to see how they show these massive characters on screen!

This is the second announcement about casting for season 2. A little while ago, we learned who would be playing some of the bad guys from Baroque Works. Remember Mr. 3, the guy who can turn into wax? He’ll be played by David Dastmalchian, who you might know from the Ant-Man movies. There’s also Miss Valentine, Mr. 5, and Mr. 9 – all getting ready to cause trouble for Luffy and his friends!
So far, it sounds like season 2 is shaping up to be epic! We still don’t know exactly when it will be released, but Netflix says it’s set for sometime in 2025. In the meantime, you can rewatch season 1 to catch up on all the adventures of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper.
