The Hindi lifetime collection of Bahubali 2 was Rs 510.99 crore.
With ‘Pathan’ beating the Hindi collections of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’, director Siddharth Anand expressed his happiness on Twitter.

‘Pathan’, which released on January 25, also stars John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is written by Sridhar Raghavan.
The film’s team recently held a success party where Shah Rukh, Deepika and Siddharth shared their experiences of coming together as Pathan.
He said, “It is good to be back. I am in no hurry to finish the film. It has always been my desire to make films for entertainment and to spread happiness among people. Whenever I fail to do that, I feel like No one feels bad. I am.” So happy that I could spread the happiness and especially for those who are close to my heart – Aditya Chopra and Siddharth. And who gave me the opportunity, as you would have seen the film is a very big film, it will be an expensive film but to get me and to give me the opportunity to come at a time when I was not working and let me do this film allowed to be a part of. I will always be grateful to Aditya Chopra and Siddharth. And Deepika too. I have forgotten those 4 years in 4 days,” Shah Rukh said at the event.
