Lisa Marie Presley’s twin daughters graduated from middle school on Friday, and Priscilla Presley was there to see them close that chapter in their young lives.
Priscilla, 77, wore a black and white jacket over a white blouse, black pants and black shoes as she attended Harper and Finley’s graduation ceremony in Los Angeles. The 14-year-old twins’ father, Michael Lockwood, was also there. Priscilla, however, remained isolated from the rest of the family and, according to her daily MailLeave the incident on its own.
She estranged from the family and went off on her own, indicating that the dust still hasn’t settled after Priscilla waged a war to control Lisa Marie’s trust. After a months-long battle, Priscilla, Riley and Michael, who represented the twins in the property battle, all came to an agreement earlier this week regarding Lisa Marie’s estate.
Lisa Marie died on June 12 in Los Angeles. She was 54 years old.
After the settlement, Priscilla told ET that she was ready to move on.
“My family has cleared all confusion as it pertains to our petition to the court and request for interpretation of documents following the untimely demise of my daughter Lisa Marie,” Priscilla said in a statement to ET. “Although some media have identified such a petition as a lawsuit, I want to clarify that no lawsuit was ever filed against my beloved granddaughter.”
But while the twins’ middle school graduation appeared to be a family affair, there was a noticeable absence — Harper and Finley’s 33-year-old sister, Riley Keough, didn’t attend the ceremony.
Twins’ graduation happened exactly one day later tmz reported that Priscilla’s request to be buried next to Elvis Presley at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee was denied.
Citing sources with direct knowledge, the outlet reported that the request was a non-starter and Priscilla backed out of her request without further discussion.
The problem is, Elvis’ mother, Gladys, is buried on his right side in the meditation garden, and his father, Vernon, is buried on his left, meaning that if Priscilla gets her way, Elvis’ parents will One of them would be to move.
For good measure, Lisa Marie’s late son, Benjamin, who died in 2020, is buried to Vernon’s left. Lisa Marie is buried next to Benjamin.
