The centenary celebrations of legendary Telugu actor Sr. NTR took place today at Kaithalapur Maidan in Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Some of the renowned actors of Telugu industry graced it, and one of them was mega powerstar Ram Charan.
Ram Charan said that one should always follow the footsteps of veterans like NTR Garu. Charan said that all the actors would miss Sr. NTR every day during the shoot. The star actor said that Sr NTR brought worldwide fame to the Telugu film industry. Charan said he is very fortunate and proud to be associated with the Telugu film industry, of which Sr. NTR was a part.
Ram Charan also shared his fondest memories of Sr. NTR. He revealed that he and Purandeshwari’s son used to attend stacking classes, and that’s when he met Sr. NTR when the veteran actor was the CM. Charan said that Sr. NTR was enjoying his breakfast when he met him and the senior actor also served him food. Ram Charan said that he cannot forget those moments.
“As long as TFI exists, Sr. NTR Garu’s name will be remembered,” Charan said. The mega actor said that it was NTR who showed the world the power of Telugu cinema. Charan thanked TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu for organizing such an event to commemorate the late actor. Charan further reveals that Balakrishna never remembers his actions and Nandamuri thanks the actor for inviting him.
