Ranbir Kapoor seen playing cricket with Sourav Ganguly, fans speculate about biopic! , hindi movie news

In September 2021, Luv Ranjan’s production house had announced that they are going to produce Dada Sourav Ganguly’s biopic. Since then, there has been no update regarding the cast or who is going to direct the project. But recently, some reports suggested that Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play the role of Sourav Ganguly in this biopic. Meanwhile, Ranbir Aaj was at Eden Gardens to promote his film ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’ directed by Luv.

The cricketer was also at Eden Gardens and was spotted with Ranbir. These pictures of the two together have fueled the rumors of a biopic. After playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in ‘Sanju’, fans want to see the actor in another biopic.

However, a few days back Bombay Times quoted Ganguly as denying these rumours. He had said, “No final decision has been taken. I hope we can share something positive after the meeting.

The film’s co-producer Ankur Garg said, “Honestly there is no update to share at this point of time. The biopic will be one of the projects that we will focus on after the release of our upcoming film. For now , Casting or anything else hasn’t been discussed.”

Currently, Ranbir is prepping for ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkar’, which is slated to release on March 8. In this, he has paired up with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time.
