Booklive takes legal action against contractor of previous edition for alleged plagiarism of pirated release

Booklive said it has filed a “strong complaint” and is pursuing legal action against the original contractor, Dragon Digital Japan Co., Ltd., which handled the original edition. BookLive noted that Dragon Digital Japan has taken over part of the translation from pirated releases of the manga. The previous edition contained typographical errors and inadequate translation, and BookLive suspended distribution of the manga in March 2022.
