The pan-Indian film, written and directed by Vamsee and starring Nupur Sanon and Gayatri Bhardwaj, will be released on October 20.
Ravi Teja, who was last seen in the April release Ravanasura, recently had two straight successes with Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya. Tiger Nageswara Rao, his first pan-Indian film, will be released later this year. Vamsee, who previously directed Lakshmi Manchu’s Dongata, is the writer-director of the fictionalised biography of the legendary robber from Andhra Pradesh’s Stuartpuram district.

Abhishek Agarwal of Abhishek Agarwal Arts, who has financed films such as The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2 and the forthcoming The Vaccine War, is financing the massive production. Nupur Sanon (Kriti Sanon’s sister) and Gayatri Bhardwaj are expected to make their Telugu debuts with the film. The film’s producers stated earlier this year that it will be released in five languages globally on October 20.
The team has left no stone unturned in order to commence its promotions in style. Venkatesh (Telugu), Shiva Rajkumar (Kannada), John Abraham (Hindi), Karthi (Tamil), and Dulquer Salmaan (Malayalam) joined together today to reveal the first glimpse of the multilingual. Today, a special celebration celebrating the launch was held in Rajahmundry.
The first-look poster and a one-of-a-kind concept film were unveiled atop Rajahmundry’s historic Havelock Bridge (Godavari). The crew even rented a train for the occasion. Ravi Teja appears angry and tense in a gruff avatar, complete with a thick beard. He’s shown behind bars in the video that exposes viewers to Tiger Nageswara Rao’s world. The voiceovers of the five (aforementioned) stars add to the appeal.
The video reveals that the story takes place in the 1970s in Stuartpuram, a little settlement on the Bay of Bengal that is frightened by darkness; trains shake upon their entrance at the station. In a nutshell, it is marketed as the crime capital of South India, and it is also known as Tiger Zone, or The Zone of Tiger Nageswara Rao. Ravi Teja wonders if you’ve ever witnessed a tiger hunt another tiger. Anupam Kher and Renu Desai both play crucial parts in the film. The soundtrack is composed by GV Prakash.
