Famous Telugu music director Raj has breathed his last today. He collaborated with Koti to compose music for several films and their duo is known as Raj-Koti. The musician slipped and fell in the washroom, causing him a heart attack.
He was immediately taken to the hospital and the doctors confirmed that Raj was brought dead. Raj’s full name is Totokura Somaraju. The music director was 68 at the time of his death, and his residence is in Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
Some of the best works of the Raj-Koti duo include Yamudiki Mogudu, Khaidi No. 786, Kodhama Singham, Karthavyam, Mutha Maestri, Govinda Govinda and Hello Brother. Some of Raj’s solo works are Sisindri, Ramudochadu, Mrigam, Premante Idhera and Chinni Chinni Aas. Raj is survived by his three daughters Deepti, Divya and Shweta.
