Sara Ali Khan poses with ‘fabulous nanny’ Sharmila Tagore: ‘Queen of my dreams’ | Bollywood

Actor Sara Ali Khan shared a picture from meeting her grandmother-veteran actor Sharmila Tagore. Sara posted the photo on Instagram on Sunday, in which the two smiled and posed for the camera. In the picture, Sharmila Tagore is wearing a blue saree and matching blouse. He had also taken a shawl. Sara was wearing a blue and white suit and a white shawl. Sharing the picture, Sara captioned the post, “The queen of my dreams (queen of my dreams) (crown emoji). Have the most wonderful grandma I have (family emoji).”

Mere Sapno Ki Rani is a song sung by Kishore Kumar from the movie Aradhana (1969). Directed by Shakti Samant, the romantic drama film starred Sharmila Tagore and Rajesh Khanna in lead roles.

Responding to the post, a fan wrote, “Sharmila Tagore is looking so beautiful.” Another user commented, “Your grandmother is very classy.” “Wow, wow,” said another fan. “I can’t wait to see you shine and inshallah you’ll make your grandma so proud of you,” commented one Instagram user. Fans will next see Sharmila in the family drama Gulmohar, which will mark her return to films after her 2010 break. Directed by Rahul V Chittela, Gulmohar also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Simran Rishi Bagga and Kaveri Seth. It is produced by Star Studios in association with Chalkboard Entertainment and Autonomous Works. It will release on March 3 on Disney+ Hotstar.



Sara was last seen in Atrangi Re (2021), directed by Aanand L Rai. Produced by T-Series Films, Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films, the film also stars Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Sara will next be seen in director Laxman Utekar’s next untitled romantic drama film opposite actor Vicky Kaushal.

She also has Gaslight with Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh. Sara is also a part of producer Karan Johar’s next film Ae Watan Mere Watan, in which she will play a brave freedom fighter in a fictional story set against the backdrop of the Quit India Movement in 1942.

Besides this, she will also be seen in director Anurag Basu’s next anthology, Metro In Dino alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Pankaj Tripathi, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal.
