Shogakukan’s Sho-ComiX magazine just made a big announcement. Starting with its next issue on September 15, the magazine will be switching to a monthly and digital-only release. This means that instead of coming out every other month, it will now come out every month. Plus, you can only read it online from now on.
This change was revealed in the issue dated August 15, which hit the shelves on July 12. Sho-ComiX started back in 2019 as a special addition to Shogakukan’s Sho-Comi magazine. Since then, it has been coming out every 15th of the odd-numbered months, like January, March, and so on.
One of the most popular series to come from Sho-ComiX is Miko Mitsuki’s “Shōnen Bride -Dansō Reijō to Kuro Shosei-,” which means “Boy Bride -The Cross-Dressing Lady and Black Student-.” This manga first appeared as a one-shot in January 2020. Due to its popularity, it became a full series in May 2020. However, in March 2023, it moved to the main Sho-Comi magazine.

Sho-ComiX is also home to other popular series, like Yukimo Hoshimori’s “Otona no Hatsukoi” manga. Fans of these series can look forward to the new monthly digital format, which means they won’t have to wait as long for new chapters.
So, starting September 15, make sure to check out Sho-ComiX online for all your favorite manga. This switch to digital-only means you can read it anywhere, anytime.
