IT services company Tech Mahindra on Saturday announced that former Infosys Chairman Mohit Joshi has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and key managerial personnel of the company under the Companies Act, 2013 for a period of 5 (five) years. has been appointed in Effective from December 20, 2023 to December 19, 2028 (both days inclusive). Mohit Joshi will take over from CP Gurnani after his retirement on December 19 this year.

At Infosys, Mohit heads the Global Financial Services & Healthcare and Software businesses, which includes Finacle (Banking Platform) and the AI/Automation portfolio. Mohit also led Sales Operations and Transformation for Infosys and held executive responsibility for all large deals at the company. He is also responsible for internal CIO functions and the Infosys Knowledge Institute.
