The manga was licenced by Seven Seas Entertainment, which summarises the plot as follows:
Ichikawa Kyotaro, a young man who is barely able to climb the social ladder at his school, privately fantasises about playing the suffering protagonist in some suspenseful psychological drama. He spends his days planning how to ruin his classmates’ quiet lives and fantasising about the popular student Anna Yamada. However, Kyotaro isn’t nearly the disturbed teen he portrays himself to be, and it turns out Anna is also a little strange.
In March 2018, Sakurai published the manga in the Weekly Shnen Champion issue of Akita Shoten. In April 2018, the manga was transferred to Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross manga website. The comic was transferred to Manga Cross after Champion Cross and Akita Shoten’s other manga website Champion Tap! amalgamated to create it in July 2018. The seventh volume of the manga’s collected book was released by Akita Shoten in August 2022. The manga’s fifth volume was released by Seven Seas Entertainment in October 2022.
