The controversial film The Kerala Story starring Adah Sharma in the lead is doing wonders at the box office. The film, directed by Sudipto Sen, is claimed to be based on a true story, according to which some women from Kerala were trapped and forced to be a part of the terrorist organization ISIS.
The film has now crossed the 175 crore mark at the ticket window. With yesterday’s collections, the film has grossed ₹178 crore at the domestic box office till date. Since it is the weekend, the collections can again see a boom.
Vipul Amrital Shah is the producer as well as the creative director of the film. Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, Sidhu Idnani, Devdarshini and Vijay Krishna played other important roles. Veeresh Srivalsa and Bishakh Jyoti composed the tunes. It has to be seen how much the film can collect in the coming days.
