The Mandalorian Season 2 finale finished with a lot to look forward to. And to add to the enthusiasm, we just got a teaser picture from Disney+, which provides a glimpse on what to anticipate when Season 3 comes later this year. Through the photograph we see Din Djarin and Grogu seated in a cockpit together, which implies that they could be headed towards Mandalore, the home planet of the Mandalorians.
The finale of season 2 showed Din Djarin carrying the Dark Saber, a legendary weapon that qualifies the user as the Ruler of Mandalore. Djarin was able to earn this weapon via fight, as he fought Moff Giedon, the previous wielder of this weapon. What’s remarkable is that Djarin has now concept what holding such a weapon implies.

The misunderstanding resulting from this point is that the Dark Saber hasn’t been seen with Din Djarin in any promotional photographs since the launch of Season 3. Many fans were wondering what happened to the weapon and if Djarin still had it on him.
Fortunately, the official Twitter account for The Mandalorian has recently published a new poster for the series. The poster features Din Djarin with the Dark Saber in one hand and his blaster in the other. We also notice Grogu in the backdrop, seated in the cockpit. And judging by the looks of things, fans are more enthusiastic than ever about what’s to come in the new season.
