Viewers were introduced to Shin and his brave attempts to change the game for the first time in the first episode of The New Gate. After escaping the dangerous game that became his favorite MMORPG, Shin begins a new adventure in a different world.
Episode 1 of New Gate is called The Third Truth. Explore the game world that has turned deadly, much like Sword Art Online.
The episode begins with a creepy prologue narrated by a narrator, giving us a brief look at the virtual world of The New Gate.
This game used to be just for fun, but now it is a dangerous death game where real lives are at risk. Next, we meet Shin, the anime’s main character, as he fights the game’s final boss.
After a tough battle, Shin suddenly finds himself in the future of the game world. He is determined to find his way back home when he meets a mysterious girl named Tierra.
She says she is the apprentice of one of Shin’s supporting characters. Due to a curse, Tierra cannot leave a store, and this meeting with Shin begins her adventure in this new world.
Shin heads to a nearby town with Tierra’s letter of recommendation. This letter helps you easily register with the local guild.
At first, they are unsure if the letter is real, but Shin’s determination and honesty convince the guild leader. The next day, Shin receives his official guild card and is asked for a simple mission: collect medicinal herbs.

But things don’t go as planned when he meets a tough monster: Skullface Jack, with a whopping level of 359.
Shin fights the monster, and when he is having a hard time, he takes off his power limiter and fights fiercely.
In the end, he wins and the monster’s glowing sword flies through the air. After the dust settles, the sword crashes into the princess’s room in the castle and through the window.
Expectation
In episode 2 of The New Gate, called A Little Partner, viewers will meet a new character named Yuzuha.
This cute fox-like creature was teased at the end of the last episode. Yuzuha is expected to become an important part of Shin’s adventure, perhaps as a friend or helper.
In episode 2 of The New Gate, we will probably see what happens after Shin’s fight with the monster Skullface Jack.
The monster’s sword ended up in the princess’s bedroom and this could cause some problems. Shin could be caught up in the fallout and Earth may return to help him.
