Wes Bentley is weighing in on news of the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding his Paramount Network series, yellowstone,

Bentley, who stars as Jamie Dutton in show creator Taylor Sheridan’s ranch-centric hit, spoke Entertainment Weekly In an interview published online on Saturday. During the conversation, he explained that he was not directly involved in any of the discussions – which reportedly involved his co-star Kevin Costner’s schedule – but that he was hopeful that everything would work out.

“With all the news that’s come out recently about the show, you know, it’s way above my pay grade,” Bentley said. “Various people are making decisions. I know they’re still working on it from what I’m being told — we’re working with everyone to make sure the shoot goes.”

He continued, “And I believe we will. We always have firsts. I think it’s probably a little drama over nothing.

Earlier this month, Costner was at the center of reports from unnamed sources claiming that the actor portraying patriarch John Dutton refused to work on the second half of the film for more than a week. Yellowstone’The fifth season which is all set to launch this summer. As per insiders, he is currently focusing on the shooting of his western film. Horizon,
