Manga creator Wataru Momose announced on her X (formerly Twitter) account that she will launch a new romantic comedy manga titled “Saneka no Yomeiri” (Saneka’s Marriage) on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service on January 21.

The new manga is set in an old Japanese-style house and tells the story of a boy and a raccoon dog deity. Momose’s previous work, “Me and My Gangster Neighbour” (Boku to Jingi Naki Ojisan), recently concluded in October 2023 after a successful run on Shonen Jump+.

Prior to that, Momose launched the popular “Romantic Killer” manga on Shonen Jump+ in July 2019, which ran until June 2020. Viz Media is currently releasing the “Romantic Killer” manga in English, and a net anime adaptation of the series debuted on Netflix in October 2022.

Fans of Wataru Momose’s work can look forward to the launch of “Saneka no Yomeiri” on January 21, as the mangaka continues to captivate readers with their unique blend of romance, comedy, and supernatural elements.
