The quarterback who will start against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday has been chosen by the New Orleans Saints.

According to head coach Dennis Allen, Andy Dalton will start at quarterback for the contest on Sunday.

Dalton appears to still have an advantage over Jameis Winston despite his recent struggles.

On Sunday, Andy Dalton will start for the Saints, head coach Dennis Allen told reporters, according to a tweet from ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Since the team's September 25 loss to the Carolina Panthers, Winston, who started the season as the starting quarterback, hasn't played in a full game.

Dalton has had both triumphs and setbacks throughout his time as the starting quarterback.

His extraordinarily low lows are the reason for the team's dismal record.

Despite his poor performance, he will start this Sunday against the hapless Los Angeles Rams.
