As the final battle between Sukuna and the remaining sorcerers unfolds in the pages of Jujutsu Kaisen, the list of available fighters dwindles, leaving few capable of entering the fray.
One of those sorcerers who stay on the sidelines is Iori Utahime, a semi-first grade sorcerer and supervisor of Jujutsu High’s Kyoto branch. While he may not have featured prominently at the beginning of the series, Utahime played a role in the dramatic entrance orchestrated by Gojo in his confrontation with Sukuna.
I love the mysticism in Gojohime, with Gojo being the man who was considered a God among mortals and Utahime being a Miko, whose job is to capture and dance as an offering to the gods for prosperity.#gojohime #gouta pic.twitter.com/tiqXt6NYWL

Despite their proximity, Utahime harbors a deep-seated resentment toward Gojo, whom he views as arrogant and overbearing. However, speculation arises among fans about the true nature of his feelings towards the enigmatic and powerful sorcerer.
Some wonder if his outward animosity toward Gojo hides a hidden affection, leading to speculation about the possibility of a deeper connection between them.
Exploring Iori Utahime’s Interactions and Possible Romantic Connections in Jujutsu Kaisen
Iori Utahime, a semi-grade cursed sorceress affiliated with the Kyoto branch of Jujutsu High, made her debut in episode 14 of the anime and chapter 32 of the manga Jujutsu Kaisen. Since her introduction, she has been consistently depicted wearing a Miko outfit, similar to a yukata.
In his youth, Utahime had a flawless face, but later acquired a scar for undisclosed reasons. Aside from her interactions with Gojo Satoru, she exudes a kind and calm demeanor, demonstrating a genuine desire to help her students and impart knowledge to them.
While Jujutsu Kaisen does not primarily focus on romance, Utahime’s jovial nature has led her to interact with various male colleagues and superiors throughout the series.
Utahime’s interactions with his colleague Kento Nanami, a first-grade sorcerer, have been limited, suggesting that there is no romantic interest between them. Similarly, her interactions with Haibara, who died prematurely, were minimal.

Utahime and Kusakabe, another Jujutsu High instructor, were rarely seen together during the Gojo’s Past arc, indicating that there is no significant relationship between them.
Of the sorcerers, Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto spent the most time with the Utahime during their student days. While Geto did not interact much with the Utahime, she occasionally joined Gojo in hijinks involving her. However, this alone does not suggest any romantic connection between Geto and Utahime.
Lastly, Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer, shared a long-standing association with the Utahime, dating back to their days as students. Despite their shared history, Utahime harbors clear animosity toward Gojo, stemming from her past pranks and his annoying behavior.
