WWE Superstars’ Losing Streaks Revealed

In this report, we will look at an often overlooked aspect of losing streaks in WWE. Our list showcases the longest losing streaks on TV for main roster WWE Superstars, highlighting the challenges they faced and their journey towards redemption. Here is the criteria used:

  • Main roster shows, specials and NXT TV events count towards Superstar tally
  • We have not considered the results of live events and dark matches.
  • Unassigned Superstars are eligible in the Brand Draft.
  • Draws and no contests are classified as losses for all involved.

The information provided is as reliable as the source allows. With that said, here are the 14 WWE Superstars with the longest losing streaks.

14 and 13) Erik and Ivar = 6/7

Last win: vs. Braun Strowman and Ricochet on SmackDown March 10, 2023

The Viking Raiders returned with success last year, but their losing streak began in late March. Competitive tag team divisions and ongoing main event storylines have limited their opportunities.

12) Von Wagner = 7

Last win: Jan 10, 2023 vs. Oba Femi at NXT LVL UP

There is mystery surrounding von Wagner’s character. After threatening to cut him off as his manager, Robert Stone applauds his client for getting a promotion. However, he keeps asking for a picture of a child possibly linked to a traumatic event in his infant life, to which Wagner refuses to explain. However, even before Wagner’s promotion to the main roster, he hasn’t wrestled a televised match since LVL UP in January.

11 and 10) Angel and Humberto = 8

Last win: May 27, 2022 on SmackDown vs Jinder Mahal and Shanky

They are the tag team with the second longest losing streak in WWE, although this number also includes some singles losses. Despite his athleticism and Angel’s charisma, WWE continues to use him as enhancement talent.

9) Mace = 10

Previous wins: T-Bar vs. Erik and Ivar in the main event on October 4, 2021

As one of only three Superstars not to have won a televised match since 2021, Maximum Male Model and previous Vengeance member has the second longest wait for a win.

8) Ilyas = 10

Last win: November 21, 2022 w/ Matt Riddle vs. Alpha Academy on Monday Night Raw

Since returning to his original gimmick as Ezekiel, Elias has picked up some victories, mostly in tag teams with Matt Riddle. However, ever since the team quietly disbanded, he has been walking a lonely path of despair. Their only saving grace is getting airtime with the return of Rick Buggs.

7) The Miz = 11

Last win: December 19, 2023 vs. Dexter Lumis on Monday Night Raw

Recent social media posts have highlighted The Miz’s downfall, including losses to Snoop Dogg and Pat McAfee at WrestleMania. Despite being featured prominently by WWE, he struggles to gain momentum.

6) Mansoor = 13

Last win: November 22, 2021 vs. Drew Gulak in Main Event

Mån.Sôör has done well to find a gimmick with maximum male models, but her win-loss record has gone down the toilet since breaking through in 2019 to 2021. He was winning a ton of matches but is now going through the toughest phase of his career.

5) Xia Li = 13

Last win: February 25, 2022 vs. Natalya on SmackDown

She currently holds the longest losing streak of any woman called up from NXT. In 2021, Xia Li appeared on the main roster for the second time with an intense character she had worked hard on for over a year. Yet, after enjoying a short winning streak, his career fell off a cliff in March last year. She has lost every match since then, including dark matches and live events. For a moment, it looked like she might enjoy another push after helping Damage CTRL, but WWE quickly hid her contribution.

4) Baron Corbin = 14

Last win: November 14, 2022 vs. Akira Tozawa on Monday Night Raw

The most public fall has been the career of Baron Corbin. After his run as Happy Corbin was cut short, JBL returned to WWE, now nicknamed the “Wrestling God”. This did not work, as Corbin kept losing, so JBL chided him by telling him he was worthless. It’s been a little over six months since Corbin picked up a victory over Tozawa. 14 losses in six months puts him #2 in terms of most losses in this time frame.

3) Shanky = 14

Last Win: September 27, 2021 w/ Jinder Mahal & Veer vs. Jeff Hardy, Mansoor & Mustafa Ali

Sportskeeda recently reported that Shanky has been sent back to the WWE Performance Center to hone his craft. His last match on the main roster was on an episode of SmackDown in July, but according to WWE, he remains a part of the main roster. Shanky had one of the biggest losing streaks, before disappearing without explanation. He currently holds the record for the longest wait for a win, which stood at almost 20 months.

2) Tamina = 15

Last win: July 18, 2022 vs. Dewdrop for the 24/7 Title on Monday Night Raw

Tamina is no stranger to losing. Over the years, she has suffered more losses than any other female superstar. Her last push was during the 24/7 title days, when she and Akira Tozawa were an item. In the dying days of the title, Tamina won it several times on live events, but it ended when Dana Brooke lost it to Nikki Cross before it was thrown unopposed. He has since spent his time wrestling in main events alongside other feuding main roster and potential NXT Superstars.

1) Otis = 16

Last win: November 17, 2022 vs. Elias on Monday Night Raw

The most surprising result of the research was that Otis lost sixteen televised matches in six months. For the sake of clarity, here is a list of the losses in chronological order:

  • w/ Chad Gable vs. Elias & Matt Riddle
  • w/ Chad Gable vs Street Profits
  • w/ Chad Gable & Baron Corbin vs. The OC
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. The Good Brothers
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. Damian Priest & Finn Balor
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. Damian Priest & Dominic Mysterio
  • royal rumble 2023
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander
  • vs johnny gargano
  • w/ Chad Gable & The Viking Raiders vs. The Street Profits, Braun Strowman & Ricochet
  • Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal 2023
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. The Street Profits vs. Strowman/Ricochet vs. The Viking Raiders @ WrestleMania 39
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. The Usos
  • w/ Chad Gable vs. Braun Strowman & Ricochet
  • vs Mustafa Ali
  • IC Title #1 Contender Battle Royal

For anyone wondering why Chad Gable is not on this list, it is because he defeated Baron Corbin in a singles match back in March. For the tag team, Alpha Academy has not won a tag match since September 19, 2022 against Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander on Main Event. Since then, they have suffered 10 tag team losses on TV, making them the least successful team on the main roster.

Does any of the research surprise you? Do any of the listed WWE Superstars deserve to lose as many times as they do? Would you like to see more lists like this? We would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
