On Friday, Kadokawa announced the addition of nine new cast members for the anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s manga series, “Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective (Kamonohashi Ron no Kindan Suiri).”

The first season of the anime debuted on October 2, airing on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and various other channels. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the episodes in real-time, titled “Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions.”

Shōta Ihata, known for his work on projects like Girlish Number and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent, is directing the anime under the diomedéa studio. Wataru Watari, the creative mind behind both the light novel and anime scripts for Girlish Number, is supervising the series scripts. Masakazu Ishikawa, credited for works like Squid Girl and The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent, is responsible for adapting the character designs for animation.
Yo Tsuji, renowned for his contribution to Miss Hokusai, is composing the music under Kadokawa. Unison Square Garden has provided the opening theme song, titled “Ikenai fool logic,” while the rock band hockrockb is performing the ending theme, “Lipsync.”
Amano, known for works like Reborn! and elDLIVE, started the manga series on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app in October 2020. Shueisha released the 12th volume of the manga on October 4th.
