Coleman Domingo wraps up filming Fear the Walking Dead

One of the most popular actors in the Walking Dead universe has filmed his final scenes.

On Monday, Coleman Domingo revealed on Instagram that he had wrapped filming on Fear the Walking Dead.

“Victor Strand and Fear the Walking Dead changed my life,” shared Domingo, who has been with the series since Fear the Walking Dead season 2.

“It’s a series finale on my man!!! All the love to my beloved cast members, writers, producers, down the line, guests, weirdos, fans, fans, fans and fans of season 8,” he wrote. ,

The statement continues, “It’s been great! Season 8 begins May 14 on @amc_tv, so thank you to my colleagues at AMC.”

AMC revealed in January that Fear the Walking Dead would end this year with a 12-episode final season.

The news came as a bit of a surprise since it seemed like the show would be the new flagship in the franchise after The Walking Dead concludes in November 2022.

However, AMC’s focus seems to be on The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne, three spinoffs of the main show.

Victor Strand has been a huge presence in Fear the Walking Dead, so there’s a good chance Domingo could pop up in the franchise down the line.

If you watch Fear the Walking Dead online, you know that The Strand has been an important part of the spinoff.

As a viewer, it’s been great to see this arc play out, and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.

“The eighth season of Fear picks up after the season 7 finale, when Morgan (Lennie James) and Madison (Kim Dickens) hope to rescue Moe from Padre, as planned,” the official logline for the final season reads. Reads for

“Now, Morgan, Madison and the others they brought to the island are living under the cynical rule of the Padre.”

“With our characters discouraged and hopeless, the task of re-establishing faith in a better world lies with the very person Morgan and Madison set out to defend in the first place — Morgan’s daughter, Moe.”
