Flytaking sides in Jake Paul , tommy fury feud, betting on The Problem Child to knock out TNT… and given the sheer size of the bets, Drizzy is confident the 26-year-old YouTuber-boxer will turn the lightsaber on Fury.
Drake posted his stakes betting slip on social media Saturday night … and he’s risking $400,000. In order to cash out the superstar rapper, Jake not only cannot win the fight, he must knockout Tommy (in any round). If that scenario does indeed play out, Drake would receive $1.4 million … which included his initial bet ($400k).
The payout is so big because statistically, it’s a longshot… the odds say that the chances of the fight ending by Paul KO are less than 30%.
For your information, let us tell you that Jake is 6-0… and 4 of those bouts have ended by knockout. Tommy is also undefeated… and has apparently never been stopped.
Drake is no stranger to making huge bets. in fact, he bet $965k total On to the Super Bowl…and while he didn’t hedge all his bets, he did pretty well. He also puts a lot of money into UFC fights.
While the rapper was riding along with Jake, tyson fury (apparently) is with his brother. The heavyweight champion revealed earlier this week that he bet over $100K on Tommy to win by stoppage.
“I have 100 racks on it for in-distance stoppages, so if [Tommy] If I lose, I will lose 100 bags as well,” Fury told IFL TV.
jake and tommy too made a bet during fight week (though, we’ll see if it comes to fruition). If Jake wins the fight, he gets Tommy’s money. If Fury wins, Jake doubles his money.
Stakes aside, Paul and Fury flat-out hate each other… and Sunday’s fight is the culmination of years of bullshit talking. The men had to be scrapped on two previous occasions, but Tommy pulled out – one for injury, and the other for travel issues.
Barring a disaster that prevents the fight from happening, two things will be decided in a matter of hours… Jake and Tommy’s beef, and Drake’s mood on Sunday night.
