RGV is not the only one who has come out in support of the film. Earlier, some other celebrities had also criticized those demanding a ban on The Kerala Story. Among them was veteran actor Shabana Azmi who said that those who wanted The Kerala Story banned were “as wrong” as those who wanted Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha banned. Kangana Ranaut also agreed with him.
Recently, actor Manu Rishi Chadha said in an interview to Hindustan Times that art should never be banned. He said, “I am talking about it. Those who are not, it is their choice. Those who are silent does not mean that they will not speak tomorrow. Because if the definition of ban is wide, then from cameraman to film editor Till then, the entire industry will speak up, everyone will speak up.I promise that those who are silent will speak up against this tomorrow.
