Ram Gopal Varma wrote, “#KeralaStory is like a beautiful haunting mirror that shows the dead face of mainstream Bollywood in all its ugliness.” It’s hard to learn from #KeralaStory because it’s easy to copy lies but very difficult to copy truth,” he added in the next post.

He also continued in a new post, “#KeralaStory will forever envelop every story discussion room and every corporate house in Bollywood like a mysterious fog.” “We are so comfortable lying to both others and ourselves that we are shocked when someone steps forward and reveals the truth… This explains Bollywood’s deathly silence on the shattering success of #KeralaStory,” he added. He concluded.

RGV is not the only one who has come out in support of the film. Earlier, some other celebrities had also criticized those demanding a ban on The Kerala Story. Among them was veteran actor Shabana Azmi who said that those who wanted The Kerala Story banned were “as wrong” as those who wanted Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha banned. Recently, actor Manu Rishi Chadha said in an interview to Hindustan Times that art should never be banned. He said, “I am talking about it. Those who are not, it is their choice. Those who are silent does not mean that they will not speak tomorrow. Because if the definition of ban is wide, then from cameraman to film editor Till then, the entire industry will speak up, everyone will speak up.I promise that those who are silent will speak up against this tomorrow.

The Kerala Story stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani in lead roles. The film released on 5th May and has done business so far 187 crores at the box office.
