Sharat Babu, a renowned actor who was regarded as one of the best in Telugu and Tamil film, died at the age of 71. He was hospitalized in Hyderabad last month and was on a ventilator. He appeared in almost 220 films over his career.
He was born in Andhra Pradesh on July 31, 1951. Satyam Babu Dikshit was his given name. Sharat Babu’s family reported his death today, Monday.
He’d been in the hospital for nearly a month. Multiple organ failure had happened, leading his physical functions to cease, according to information. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bangalore before being moved to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad.
His treatment had been going on for about a month. On May 3, rumors of his death began to circulate, despite his family’s denial at the time.
He worked on films in a variety of languages. Sharat Babu made his film debut in 1973 with “Raja Rajayam” in Telugu. Throughout his lengthy career, he appeared in films in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. He also received the renowned “Nandi Award.” He was last seen in Pawan Kalyan’s film “Vakeel Saab” and has previously worked with Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan.
