Sharing the news, film trade analyst Joginder Tuteja tweeted on Sunday, “Tu Jhootha Main Makkar has entered Bollywood. 100 crore club. Accomplishes the feat in 11 days. It is also Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s sixth 100 crores each film. Do you know what his other five are?”



The film has already crossed the worldwide box office 122 crores. Tu Jhootha Main Makkar is produced by Luv Films and Ankur Garg and presented by T-Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The film also stars Dimple Kapadia, Boney Kapoor and stand-up artist Anubhav Singh Bassi.

Earlier, Shraddha has also bowled five overs. 100 crore films including Ek Villain, ABCD 2, Stree, Saaho and Chhichhore. Last year, Shraddha was seen in ‘Bhediya’ opposite Varun Dhawan, but it did not materialise. Now she will work in Stree 2.

Shraddha found her role ‘refreshing’ in Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar. He told PTI in an interview, “This is a different role from what I have played in Aashiqui 2 and other films after that. She is a girl who is more in charge, she is on the front foot and is confident. For me, it was refreshing to play a character who says what he feels. She is the girl next door who has some ‘tadka’. This was a first for me.
