One of the top actresses of Bollywood is actress Neeta Mehta. Actress Neeta Mehta got recognition from films like ‘Meera Shyam’, ‘Ghar Sansar’, ‘Ye Hai Zindagi’, ‘Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki’. The film “Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki” was a hit. But when her career matured, Neeta Mehta decided to quit acting and become a sadhvi.

Neeta Mehta belongs to an educated family. He was born in 1956 in a Gujarati family. Neeta Mehta, who ruled the hearts of crores of viewers, was in love with actor Sanjeev Kapoor. She wanted to marry him. But the dice of luck turned. The two decided to separate and actress Neeta Mehtani decided to become a sadhvi. Bollywood was shocked by his decision.

Actress Neeta Mehta belongs to an educated family. But he had no interest in studies. After completing his education in Mumbai, he started working in cinema. His family did not approve of his acting in films. Against his family, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). His Bollywood journey started after taking admission in FTII. Initially, she started modeling and this also got her a job.

Neeta met famous producer Raj Khosla while studying in college. He worked in his film ‘Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki’. This film gave him recognition. But before that she has worked in films like ‘Ponga Pandit’ and ‘Yahi Hai Zindagi’.

Neeta’s film journey started in 1975. In his career of 20 years, he worked in many films but could not succeed in them. It is said that because of actor Sanjeev Kapoor, 5 years of his career were very good. The two worked together in films like Jaane Dushman, Patthar Se Takkar and Hero. Both came close to each other during work. Both fell in love and decided to get married. But Sanjeev Kapoor put a condition in front of Neeta Mehta and that condition broke their relationship forever.

After marrying Neeta Mehta, Sanjeev Kumar had a condition that he should not work in films. Neeta Mehta broke the relationship if this condition was not accepted. As the 80s began, Neeta stopped getting leading roles in Bollywood.

After moving away from Bollywood, Neeta opened her own jewelery shop in Mumbai. He did jewelery business for a few years. Neeta Mehta’s mother was very spiritual. His family considered a sadhvi named Maa Anand Mai as their guru. Neeta used to visit his ashram since childhood. In the 90s, she closed the jewelery shop and declared herself a sadhvi by wearing saffron clothes.
