Throughout the majority of the 1990s and 2000s, Blockbuster operated hundreds of locations across the United States.
Ironically, Netflix, the corporation that essentially killed it, approved a show that was based on the sole remaining Blockbuster location.
Just one month after the "Blockbuster"-named program debuted, Netflix has chosen to cancel it.
In a sense, Blockbuster has been killed off by Netflix twice.
It is yet unclear whether the rights to the show will be sold to another studio or whether it will find a new home.
In either case, the show will probably not be seen because it received poor reviews and failed to draw a crowd.
