You People, starring Eddie Murphy, Jonah Hill, Nia Long, Lauren London, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and David Duchovny, has a trailer that was just released by Netflix. Here is the You People movie trailer’s first glimpse.

The You People trailer, which was written by Kenya Barris and Jonah Hill and produced by Netflix, was published today.

Johan Hill and Lauren London play an unlikely interracial couple who must deal with societal expectations as well as generational and cultural clashes among their parents, who are played by Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and David Duchovny. The movie, which was first teased in early December, tells the story of this unlikely interracial couple and their struggles to overcome these obstacles to their love.

Ezra (Jonah Hill) is shown in the trailer seeing Amira’s parents Akbar and Fatima (Eddie Murphy and Nia Long) for the first time on his own at a restaurant. Ezra must manage cultural differences and social discomfort as he strives to establish his suitability as their daughter’s future husband.

Barris, who is also in charge of the film’s direction, announced the news on Instagram.
